What To Expect From Coaching...



Coaching is an intentional, forward-moving approach, fueled by your motivation to move from a functional life to a vibrant life. I focus on a mind, body, and spirit approach to coaching, or an integrated view of health and wellbeing. Each domain (mind, body, spirit) is interconnected and influence one other as we experience the peaks and valleys in our respective world. 


When we can find a balance between the mind, body, and spirit in the present moment, we put ourselves in a place of ease and alignment; the platform for creation of the life we want. The coaching relationship is based on the fundamental belief that we are all resourceful, creative, and whole. To integrate what we learn about ourselves through the well-being journey, and embody a new image of health and happiness, we begin to walk the path to thriving. 

Common components of a coaching journey include exploring, visioning, planning and sustaining, the lifestyle change you desire. To compliment coaching, I also integrate mindfulness practices when appropriate to assist with stress reduction, as well as Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to assist with creating the mindset desired to pursue your life goals.

I came to coaching as a way to walk with others on their journeys’ toward well-being. I have learned much in my life so far; as a father, husband, and professional, and continue along that trajectory. All of these roles and the many others I occupy, influence my own personal growth. For me, that growth has been a journey of exploring and communing with my own inner landscape; a commitment to nurturing my spirit which gives me purpose and meaning. The connection to my own spirit, vitality, power and sense of self, is the foundation for all positive movement in life. When I nurture myself in this way, anything is possible on the road to living and being well.

SureFoot Well-Being Coaching follows this knowing: that we are all resourceful, creative and whole and that our dreams and deep desires of our heart matter; to us as individuals and the greater world. When we find the sure footing within our inner world, we will realize the deep and sincere desires we hold for the life we want. 

I have a Bachelors in Exercise and Health Science, and I maintain an advance certificate in intensive training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. I am a certified Health and Wellness Coach by way of Real Balance Global Wellness Services, Inc.

and aspirations.

This is where new ways of being take root. I’ll support you in cultivating perspectives, attitudes, and mindsets that nurture you as the creative, whole, and resourceful
person you are.

What can I expect from a coaching session?
Each session is a collaborative process aimed at empowering you to make decisive, informed choices. You can expect a safe, confidential space to discuss your goals, challenges, and progress.
How long does a typical coaching engagement last?
Coaching engagements can vary depending on your individual goals and needs. Typically, clients see significant progress within 3 to 6 months of regular sessions. Maintaining momentum after creating new habits and mindset can be especially important, and as such, I make sure I am available to you for the duration of your journey. 
Do I need to prepare anything before my first session?
It's helpful to think about what you wish to achieve with coaching, but no formal preparation is necessary. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to explore your potential.
